Wow - I have been really challenged with some of the
Challenges I have been entering.

Definitely fun, love the inspiration from the DT's: It lets us open our minds
and explore the different crafts.

My new layout is for the challenge below :

Here is my entry for Case 198. I just love the CSI challenge. It does challenge us on our own capabilities. 

I enjoyed using the Scheme, and had the perfect picture to go with the Scene.

The Evidence I used was Stripes, Leaves,Flowers, Music Elements and Mesh. 

The Testimony I went with was Outside/ Nature. My Baby girl in the photo is carrying a rose, and who wouldn't want a rose from this gorgeous angel with such a smile.

I used Scraps of patterned paper, Texture paste, I stamped and dye sprayed card stock
and made my own tags, and I used CELEBR8 chippies

Here is my entry - I loved making this especially because of the colours

I used layers of Scrap paper - which I distressed and inked, and different embellishments. The chippies are from Fabscraps and Cr8. I used this gorgeous photo of my youngest son. I just love this photo with those DREAMY Blue eyes looking up at you - The window to the SOUL.

I have also entered this into the 7 dots studio competition - unfortunately we do not have 7 dots here in SA yet - but i believe Scrapbook Studio is bringing it in soon

Up for the Challenge ?

I have entered a competition that has just blown me away - with the talent of the DT's

Here is my entry below based on the requirements:

The word Escape I put on my page - The photo says it all. My son sitting on the rocks on the beach in Cape Town (our first time there) Staring out at the ocean Yonder, he looked so peaceful, with his mind drifting into the depths of the sea. Escaping today's teenage pressures: Technology, Peers, school, conformity etc.
The Mood board was very inspiring and the Blue, Purple and Yellow grabbed my attention - and it went so well with the photo. I also used black from the defining colour of the tree trunk and white leaves.
I used black accents and stamps - the script stamp was used to represent his thoughts wondering.
I used white accents and white ink through stencil, from the white leaves - so pure.
I added my own little tree (growth, knowledge) as well as little flowers which I just loved in the Mood Board.
I had so much fun with this.
