So yip another birthday to finish off 2017.
My youngest son turned 16 - not the baby anymore 😲
To start the page I used the Gears and cogs stencil from Tim Holtz and inked with Brilliance white.
I used crackle paste through the Mini Cell Theory stencil to create some texure in the background.
I die cut gears and "Happy birthday"using turquoise and gold mirror paper (Sara Signature range)
I used tags from a Tim Holts paper range and cut out some arrow heads and tails.
I chalked all the edges with Tim holtz Vintage photo distress ink, except the gear die cuts.
I love the colours and how this page turned out.
I also prefer to use black and white photos or adjust the colour of the photo to be "paler"
