I have been busy playing, trying and testing new products and experimenting.
Boy what fun.....
I found this online store called #CRAFTBOX, really lovely idea and the little
boxes you can subscribe to monthly or get randomly is a pretty cool way to
start building your craft stash.
I bought their Mixed media Craft box. It was a once off but got pretty cool products.
Sponges, Spatula's, Microbeads (pearl), 13@rts Gesso and Modeling paste,
Colourarte Vivid Ultra-Metallics - African Jade, Colourarte primary elements
arte-pigments - Stargazer, 13@rts metallic Paint - Bronze.
In my creations below I used the Microbeads and my Fav Lindy's
stamp gang - Magicals
#MAGICALSROCK. This is brilliant shimmer that can be mixed with water
to make dye sprays, used as powder and splatter. You can mix it with Gesso
to make beautiful backgrounds and stenciling paste.
First ... I created my board and glued down some embellishments. And painted
the Heavy Gesso - 13@rts
Second I coloured it up and used my #Magicals - mixed with a bit of water to paint the background, emphasize the embellishments.
Then I added some flowers and some extra ribbon, stamps and once all dried, I added some colour to the flowers.
I then added the Microbeads......all over :)
Once all dried and settled I framed my little works of art - Candy-Creations
Each little board included one of my favorite little Quotes, I have put them in the
entrance so all visitors will see it when they walk in to my home and read the quotes
and take it with them....
