A Snapshot

Hello Happy Crafters

Hope you are haveing a wnderful time with the weather warming slightly in the UK.

Today I am sharing my layout I created using a photo of my adorable Big Boys.
We went to Poole and had such fun at the water park and this photo was a snapshot
of our day there.

Products:

Die cuts
Chipboard embellishments
Paper flowers
Honeycomb stamp
Flutterby Background mesh stamp
Word/phrase stamps - various
Flat back Black gems - small
Lindy's Starburst sprays: Clam bake beige, Sea grass green, Whale watch blue,
My mojito green, Blue hawaiian blue.
Lindy's Gag me with a spoon gray shimmer spray
Nuvo embossing powder - Jade , Serenity blue, Hot chocolate
Papermania embossing powder - Seafoam white
Clear Gesso
Texture paste - Platinum crackle
Modeling paste - white
Stencil
Clear embossing powder
Copper embossing powder

Process:

I began with painting the patterned paper with Clear Gesso - make sure it is dry before
the next step.

I then added stenciling with paste - parts with modeling paste and parts with Crackle paste.

I then added Lindy's sprays to the page

While the spray inks dried, I created background paper.
I used scrap paper and sprayed it with the different colour Lindy's sprays.
I dried it with a heat gun and then stamped each background with a different stamp.
I then embossed the stamps with either clear embossing powder, Copper embossing
powder or White embossing powder.

I then coloured the paper roses with Lindy's Sprays

I then placed the background papers, embellishments and flowers on my page.
I adhered everything down, added some cotton and then stuck down the photo

I think the colours came out amazing and there is such a beautiful shimmer that
has been created with Lindy's sprays.

Here is a close up:
