LEARN TO FLY WHEN YOU FALL

 Hello Happy Crafters

I hope you are all well and challenging your creativity this week. 

I have definitely challenged my creativity this week and was inspired by two Mood-board 

challenges. 

I will also be posting twice on the blog today as I felt so inspired by my first creation I 

wanted to create something else. So my first creation is the Sweet Mixed media Bird on

this post and my next post will be about my Journal page.....

Process: 

First I printed a silhouette of a bird and cut it out, I used this as a template to cut out

a carton copy. you can use Hard board, foam core or cardstock.

I then used printed rice paper and decoupaged this onto the template using #pebeobindex

I created texture by using Texture/modelling paste through a stencil and added some crackle

paste on parts of the bird.

While I left the crackle paste to dry, I pulled out some of my die cuts and metal dies and cut

out all the leaves I have, I checked my home made resins for embellishments and some 

chipboard embellishments. I painted all of them with white Gesso #peboegesso.

Once my Birdie was dry, I added colour with #paperartsy #infusions

I then adhered my embellishments to the Bird and started colouring them.

Using my glue gun I made different size dots and glued them down, then using the 

#whitegoldpowder from #fabrikadecoru I brushed the glue dots and they gave

a beautiful glassy shimmer.

NomadicSoulDiaries - This challenged my creativity as I don't usually use birds in my Projects

or creations so I was really interested to see what I could come up with, and the colours are

amazing - The elements to use - Leaves and the Quote - Well I really enjoyed this challenge.
